Choice-Based Lettings - 37 offers of accommodation made

A Choice-Based Letting (CBL) scheme went live in Tipperary at the end of last March.

CBL allows tenants to make expressions of interest in vacant properties owned by the county council, and to bid for the houses they actually want.

The first CBL notification letter issued to 3,490 approved applicants, advising them of their username and password. A follow up letter was issued to 1,911 approved applicants who had not yet logged on to the system.

To date: 37 offers of accommodation have been made to applicants who expressed an interest, all of which have been accepted.
