Shorelines festival returns to Portumna

Shorelines Arts Festival is back from September 15-18. The festival will be back in full swing this year, which means our art exhibition will also return in all its glory.

We’ll be taking in work at the workhouse in Portumna on both Monday and Tuesday, August 22 and 23, from 6-7.30pm (please note change of dates).

Please have your work – painting, drawing or photograph, ready to hang and one piece only per person as requests from local artists to exhibit is as popular as ever. Our registration form is available to download on www.shorelinesartsfestival.com, so you can print it out, fill it in and bring it along with your piece.

Exceptionally, we are waiving our normal registration fee this year, so you don’t have to bring your wallets. We shall be selling work on the opening night only. Our commission will be 20%, so please take that into consideration when pricing your work.

On Sunday, September 4, you are all invited to the official opening of the festival exhibition from 5-7pm at The Gallery at the Irish Workhouse Centre where the Shorelines 22 programme will be launched.

Any sales after the opening night will be made directly between artist and buyer. Further queries can be answered by contacting Jackie: 087 6319890 or Margaret: 086 3195603.
