Phil Coulter returning to Nenagh
Phil Coulter will be welcomed back to Nenagh this Christmas with a fundraising concert in aid of the Nenagh Union of Parishes.
Now 80-years-old, Phil last performed in Nenagh in 2019. That was also a fundraising concert - in aid of Nenagh Special Summer Camp - which took place at the Church of St Mary of the Rosary. Several local musicians also performed on the night and Phil was accompanied by his wife Geraldine Brannigan for three songs.
Now the Derry-born award-winning songwriter is looking forward to a return visit to Nenagh when he will perform at the Abbey Court Hotel on Sunday, December 18. Fans can expect to savour such hits as ‘Steal Away’, ‘Scorn Not His Simplicity’and ‘The Town I Loved So Well’ from the man who wrote ‘Ireland's Call’ among other erstwhile classics.
