Roscrea’s Lee scores on Ireland debut

Roscrea’s Brody Lee (left) scored on his Republic of Ireland debut in an U15 tournament in Croatia last week.

In their first game against Cyprus, the former Killavilla United youngster and current Shamrock Rovers player produced a player of the match performance, coming off the bench, winning penalty which was converted by Michael Noonan, and then scored the winner in a 2-1 win.

Lee was rewarded with a start in their second game against Spain on Friday where they were defeated 4-0, and started off the bench in the 3-2 defeat to hosts Croatia on Monday.

Lee was subsequenrtly named Ireland’s player of the tournament.
