Raising awareness for Occupational Therapy

To mark Occupational Therapy Week, (October 24 –30), a group of Occupational Therapists working within Tipperary University Hospital and community settings in South Tipperary hosted an event in the foyer of the hospital in Clonmel, which was aimed to educate and increase awareness of the role of an occupational therapist and their unique and valuable contribution to the people of South Tipperary.

Occupational Therapy Week is an awareness campaign designed to celebrate and raise awareness of occupational therapy work and giving people the knowledge to make changes that will have a positive impact on their lives.

Further information on the role of an Occupational Therapist can be found on the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland website https://www.aoti.ie/
