Festive 'Mines Christmas Concert Returns

The long-awaited Silvermines Folk Choir Christmas Concert returns this year on this Sunday, December 4, to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Silvermines.

The concert has always signalled the start of Christmas in Silvermines and was missed terribly during the last two Covid years.

The concert will feature all the Christmas classics, hymns and ballads that bring that magical feeling of love and light into the heart of the young and old at this special time of year.

Special guests this year are the fabulously talented Cullinane Family, who have been performing nationally and internationally for many years.

Their latest tour to Medjugorje was a great success where they performed with Rosemary Scanlon, known professionally as Dana.

Also performing on the night is up and coming star Molly O'Connell from Kilcommon, Molly will be a contestant on Glor Tíre 2023 under the mentorship of Louise Morrissey and we wish her the best of luck on the show representing the Premier county.

A great night is expected and as always a full house, so get your tickets early from any of our choir members, Hickey’s pub or Kennedy’s shop in Silvermines.

To collect your tickets in Nenagh contact 067 41332.

Remember, Sunday, December 4, at 9pm, Silvermines Church is the venue.
