Busy time for Snooker in Nenagh

RaNKING EVENT: Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS won his second senior ranking tournament in a row, held in Nenagh Snooker & Social Club on Sunday.

In doing so, he retained his number one position in the national rankings. Recent world championship quarter-finalist Brendan O’Donoghue, Mark Walsh and Patsy Farrell also took part from Nenagh with Mark Walsh losing a close contest with Bulman 4-2 in the semi-finals. Congrats to Mark as he retains his top 6 ranking.

The recently Leader funded club just this week recovered all tables with professional grade tournament cloths to the great appreciation of all the players participating.

Nenagh Open: Next weekend we have our own Nenagh Open with the Dan Ryan Memorial Cup up for grabs currently held by last years winner Brendan O’Donoghue. This tournament is also on the national calendar and is sponsored by Mickey Spillane’s group New York, and Tipperary County Council festival and events scheme.

We will have another forty players and their families coming and staying in Nenagh and availing of our local hospitality. It is also an opportunity for our own players to participate.

Youth Academy: will be restarting on December 8th from 6 to 7pm in the club so look forward to our existing young players and new starters over the coming weeks

We have taken full control of our table metres and reduced the cost back to €4 per hour, so please avail of our fantastic facilities.
