Ballycommon community has a strong tradition of having Christmas get-togethers.

Covid halted us all for a time but we are glad to say we will be opening our doors this Sunday, December 11, to revive our Yuletide event. The hall has been ‘Christmasified’ by our Elves and set up for welcoming you all from 2-5pm, for the Ballycommon Christmas Community Fair. You're sure to find that unique Christmas gift amidst the locally produced crafts and festive food while enjoying carols, a cuppa and a catch-up. There will also be a raffle - these photos show some of the prizes that can be won. This is also an opportunity for people who have moved to the area to meet those of us that are here a bit longer. You will learn of all the activities that have the hall busy every evening and some daytime dates too.

There will be an unveiling of a spectacular piece of locally-crafted patchwork reflecting our community. Special guests on the day, including red-suited individuals. Grace Shesgreen will join us for a treat of singing and music, as will our local choir and CCÉ. Do come along - all welcome!
