Senior Club Player of the Year - Julieanne Bourke of Borris-Ileigh

Bourke and Larkin win Player of the Year Awards as Camogie All-Star teams announced

The 2022 FBD Insurance Tipperary Club Camogie All-Star teams have been revealed.

SENIOR

Players from four senior clubs and three intermediate clubs make up the Senior/Intermediate All-Star team.

Senior champions Drom & Inch are represented by five players, runners-up Clonoulty/Rossmore have three players while Intermediate champions Borris-Ileigh have two players, one of whom, Julieanne Bourke has been selected as the Overall Senior/Intermediate Player of the Year.

Julieanne was a rock in defence for Borris-Ileigh all year as they won the Intermediate championship after a very memorable campaign. One of the more older players amongst a young team, Julieanne showed all her class and experience to help guide the team to success. Marking some of the top forwards in the county she always gave 100% and was a huge factor in Borris-Ileigh's success in 2022

Players from Cashel King Cormacs, Shannon Rovers, Kilruane MacDonagh’s and Eire Og Annacarty make up the remainder of the Senior/Intermediate Club All-Star team.

Junior

The Junior Club All-Star team is comprised of players from seven different clubs across all three junior grades.

Junior ‘A’ champions Moneygall are represented by four players, including full forward Niamh Larkin who is the 2022 Junior Player of the year. Niamh was in scintillating form all year, scoring a goal in every championship game. She was a real leader on and off the field and led Moneygall on an unbeaten run throughout the championship to claim the Junior A title.

Junior ‘B’ champions Moycarkey/Borris have three players on the All-Star team and Junior ‘B2’ winners Clonoulty/Rossmore have two players. Players from Brian Borus, Portroe, Shannon Rovers and St Rita’s Fethard make up the remainder of the team.

A Club All-Star is a recognition of the outstanding year that they had with their clubs in the 2022 FBD Insurance championship. Each player will receive a special 2022 official All-Star jersey.
