Go-ahead for Nenagh houses

Tipperary Co Council has granted conditional planning permission for 11 housing units in Nenagh.

Joseph Gilmartin has received permission for the demolition of two partially-built bases and construction of 10 three-storey semi-detached houses, and one three-storey detached house at Riverview, Millersbrook.

Associated ancillary works, all finishes and boundary treatment to match adjoining properties are included in the plan. So too are associated works with respect to roads, footpaths, additional carpark spaces, water services and other utilities.

The applicant had been advised by the council that a badger sett bordered the site. Among other conditions, the council stipulated that the development be carried out in accordance with the mitigation measures set out in a badger survey report submitted with the planning application.
