Gardaí investigate golf club burglaries

There have been a number of burglaries at golf clubs across the region recently.

Close to midnight on Monday/Tuesday last, February 13-14, Roscrea Golf Club was broken into. Gardaí are carrying out inquiries, harvesting CCTV and following lines of inquiry.

Gardaí are also urging those who own boats to be extra vigilant as in the last six weeks, three boat engines have been reported stolen along Lough Derg.

Gardaí in Roscrea are investigating an incident where on bank holiday Monday last, February 6, a bank card was stolen from a man in the town. The bank card was used to carry out a number of transactions without the owner's consent. Gardaí are harvesting CCTV and hoping for an early arrest.

Public assistance is sought regarding a theft from a car, which happened in an estate close to the Dublin Road in Nenagh on Monday last, shortly after 9pm. Some property was stolen during the course of the incident.
