O’Donoghue wins fourth Amateur Snooker event
Current National Amateur champion Brendan O’Donoghue from Nenagh won the Snooker & Billiards Ireland’s (SBI) fourth event on the Amateur Tour last weekend in the SBI Headquarters in Carlow.

In the last 16, Davy Morris beat No.1 seed Ross Bulman who had won the previous two events. Jonathan Williams had a fantastic run to the semi-finals while Greg Casey had an outstanding event in reaching another final. Nenagh’s Mark Gleeson lost 3-0 to Mark Tuite while Brendan O’Donoghue beat Aaron Tobin by the same score.
