Nenagh teen’s film in line for award

'Keeper Hill's Surrounding Area’, a documentary made by Nenagh teenager Jake Mitchell, has been shortlisted for a film of the year award.

A previous award winner at the Fresh International Film Festival, Jake's Keeper Hill documentary covers many topics, including illegal dumping in many of the locality's off-road sites. He made it last year with hopes of winning a national film festival.

And Jake was last week congratulated by Fresh Film on the selection of his documentary for the Munster 1 Regional Final in the 2023 Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the Year awards. It will be screened at the Belltable Arts Centre in Limerick on Wednesday, March 15.
