There are a range of full-time and part-time courses on offer in the college.

Open evening at Templemore College

The annual open evening is happening in Templemore College of Further Education on Thursday, March 2, between 5 and 8pm. This is an opportunity for parents, school leavers, career changers, job seekers and others to get advice or guidance on the next steps to take to advance their career or re-start the education journey.

There are a range of full-time and part-time courses on offer in the college. Courses such as Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Complementary Therapies, Social Studies, Security, Sports, Software Development, Business and Early Learning and Care are full time and certified at Level 5 and 6. These prepare graduates for employment or progression to higher education. Teachers, students and support teams will be available to chat about career options and to answer any queries visitors may have.

If you are not interested in a full time course, there are many part time courses on offer. Just come in and find out what you can do during the day or in the evening in TCFE. There are also services available for people whose first language is not English, as well as a chance to get assistance with learning English.

The event coincides National ETB Day, which is a celebration of the work and contributions of learners, staff and communities. It is the tenth anniversary of the formation of the 16 Education and Training Boards (ETBs) throughout Ireland. TCFE provides a caring, supportive and friendly environment and encourages all learners to achieve their potential and begin their lifelong learning journey.
