March exhibitions in Nenagh Library

Lian Knight-Hogan's exhibition ‘Chuir Ceist ar Gach Rud - Question Everything’ - will run in Nenagh Library for the month of March.

A self-taught artist, Lian is inspired by the world around her and this exhibition, which includes works in acrylics, pen and marker, and lately watercolours, showcases her talents in a variety of media, using a range of very different subject matter.

For an unusual exhibition, one designed to have you question everything, it is well worth taking a look at this month.

Also this March at the library is an exhibition from your local handweaver, Barbel Klee. Barbel is German and has been living in Ireland since the late 1980s. Having spent 20 years in Co Offaly, she has lately moved to Tipperary, bringing with her the wonderful craft of weaving.

Working to commission, she enjoys the freedom to work at her own pace, creating shawls, scarves, blankets, tea towels and rugs, using high-grade materials such as cotton/linen mixes, pure wool, bamboo and silk.

We are pleased to showcase some beautiful examples of her work here in the library during the month of March.
