Village Spring Clean in Rathcabbin

It’s that time of year again and Rathcabbin Development Association and Tidy Towns are busy planning for the summer ahead.

Rathcabbin Tidy Towns needs your help to continue making improvements to the village and to increase our mark in this year’s competition.

Firstly, we need you to come out on Saturday, April 1 for our Village Spring Clean. We will meet at the hall at 1pm. Works will include litter-picking, sweeping, weeding, and painting. Light refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards. Also, we are asking everyone to take care of their own patch. This would be a huge help.

Do you need to paint, clean or tidy? Could you display hanging baskets or window boxes?

Would you please sweep and weed outside your own house?

We would really appreciate your help as we are a small crew. We are always looking for new volunteers. We normally meet on a Thursday at 7pm. Check out our Facebook page Rathcabbin Development Association and Tidy Towns for up-to-date information. We also have a WhatsApp group. You can give your number to any committee member and we will add you.

Finally, we are looking for your input into what you would like to see happen in the village. Please send us your suggestions on Facebook or talk to any committee member. Thank you in advance for your support in 2023.
