1916 Rising commemoration in Templemore

The annual Ógra Fianna Fáil 1916 Rising Commemoration will take place on this Easter Sunday, April 9, at 12pm outside the Town Hall in Templemore.

This year's commemoration will be addressed by noted historian John Flannery, a past President of Ormond Historical Society, who has written several articles on the War of Independence and Civil War in Tipperary.

This Easter Sunday is very historic as it is 100 years since the death of General Liam Lynch and 25 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, which will both be marked by Ógra Fianna Fáil this Easter Sunday.
