Ormond to begin against UL Bohs in AIL
The fixtures for the 2023/24 Energia All-Ireland League have been revealed.
After just coming up short of promotion last season, Nenagh Ormond’s latest division 2A campaign kicks off on Saturday, 7th October and will begin an end as it did last season with games against UL Bohemian, starting at New Ormond Park. Nenagh’s first away game on 14th October will be trip to Celbridge to take on MU Barnhall who defeated Ormond in the penultimate round in the last campaign.
The always mouth-watering Tipperary derbies with Cashel have been scheduled either side of the Christmas break in rounds 9 & 10 with Nenagh heading south for the first encounter.
The new teams coming into the division are Banbridge and Malone who were relegated from division 1B while Greystones were promoted from division 2B.
Nenagh’s competitive campaign will begin in September when they begin the defence of the Limerick Charity Cup and play in the opening round of the Munster Junior Cup
