The Camogie Association Launch the 2023 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championship Finals
The Camogie Association today unveiled the 2023 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championship Finals with a Captains launch for their Premier Junior, Intermediate and Senior Finals in Croke Park.
The highly anticipated Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championship Finals is taking place as a triple-header on Sunday, August 6th, the finals will showcase the pinnacle of camogie talent at the iconic Croke Park.
The finals will feature three exhilarating matches, where teams will compete for the prestigious Seaghan O'Duffy Cup (Senior), Jack McGrath Cup (Intermediate), and Kathleen Mills Cup (Premier Junior). This year's edition promises to be an unforgettable showdown between six counties, as they strive to etch their names in history by capturing the coveted All-Ireland title.
In the Senior Final, Cork secured their place after a exhilarating semi-final against Galway in front of a record semi-finals attendance in UPMC Nowlan Park, whilst Waterford saw off Tipperary by the narrowest of margins of just one point.
The Senior Final will see both teams hungry for victory. Cork determined to reclaim the silverware following their triumphant 2020 campaign against Galway. Meanwhile, Waterford will be looking to bridge the 78 year gap to reach their first All-Ireland Senior final since 1945, much to the delight of their supporters and will leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of glory.
Meath will take on a spirited Derry side in the Intermediate Final, promising a thrilling encounter that is sure to captivate fans. Both teams will showcase their immense talent and determination as they vie for victory and the chance to lift the esteemed Jack McGrath Cup.
Tipperary v Clare in the Premier Junior finals will make up two of the four Munster representative teams for this year’s All-Ireland Championships.
