Drink and drug driving arrests in Nenagh district

Gardaí made four drink driving arrests and one arrest in relation to drug driving in the Nenagh district over the last week.

There have also been 10 arrests under the Public Order Act across the district over the last 10 days.

Gardaí conducting a follow-up search in Dolla seized around €1,000 of cannabis, subject to analysis, last Saturday. One male was arrested and charged in relation to drugs offences

A burglary reported at Carrig Road, Roscrea, in the early hours of last Saturday is under investigation, as is the theft of tools from a van parked in the Grange estate the previous Saturday.

There has also been a report of building material stolen from a construction site at Rearcross between Friday and Monday last. Gardaí are urging owners to ensure that such sites are well-secured as building material is being targeted by criminals.
