Appeal lodged over Templemore crèche plan

A plan to provide a crèche on Templemore's main street has been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.

Lisgorm Services Ltd (Rosaleen Dwyer) recently received conditional planning permission for a change of use of an existing disused public house to crèche on the ground floor, and from residential to crèche on the first and second floors of the premesis. A series of development works were itemised in the plan, including a change of use of an existing shed to toddler/sleeping area, and change of use of an existing shed to after-school recreational area.

A third party appeal in the name of John Bannon, Main St, has been made to An Bord Pleanála. Mr Bannon lodged an objection to the planning application with Tipperary Co Council, in which several concerns were raised, among them issues relating to boundary, access and loss of privacy.

An Bord Pleanála is to rule on the case by January 2 next.
