Bat and moth night walk at Portumna Workhouse

Portumna Tidy Towns are hosting a Bat and Moth Night Walk this Friday.

Join Albert Nolan, biodiversity and heritage expert, to discover the world of bats and moths. As night falls, join us on a stroll through Portumna Workhouse as these fabulous creatures of the night make their appearance. We will start with learning about the wonderful world of bats and moths, how to consider them when planting and around your property, before heading out, to see what we can find.

This event is suitable for adults and children and will take approximately two hours. Please wear warm, weatherproof clothing and suitable footwear, as this will be an outdoor event.

Please wear a high-vis jacket. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Date: Friday, October 6, at 7pm. Meeting at the Irish Workhouse Centre, Portumna [H53 EK74].
