Nenagh CTC thanks Patrick

After eight years of service, Patrick Rowley-Brooke recently stepped down as Chairperson of Nenagh Community Training Centre (CTC).

At a short ceremony held at the John's Lane facility last week, members of the Board of Management and staff presented Patrick with a specially commissioned painting of the historic building by the up-and-coming Nenagh-based artist and former CTC Learner, Didi Delaney.

Incoming Chairperson, Dr Conor Reidy, thanked Patrick for his years of exemplary service to the learners, management and staff at Nenagh CTC. He noted that the centre had undergone enormous positive changes including key developments in IT, infrastructure and programme delivery in recent years and this was in no small part due to Patrick's leadership. Like so many educational institutions, Nenagh CTC was greatly impacted by the lockdowns of 2020-21, but with Patrick's overwhelming support to management, the centre made a seamless transition to online learning and the Board of Management continued its work.

A familiar face to the learners and staff at Nenagh CTC during the past decade, Patrick will remain on the board and serve as Vice-Chairperson.
