Connie Kennedy presenting the proceeds of a recent céilí to Marion Burke, Tipperary Branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland.

Club Rince Aonach Urmhumhan Céilí

After a break for the summer, we are delighted to hold our next céilí in Toomevara on this Friday, October 13.

Music begins at 9pm and continues until midnight.

We are very much looking forward to having Neily O’Connor provide the music for the night. Neily is an extremely talented box player and will be sure to keep us on the dancefloor all night. A fine singer, he might even give us a song or two.

At the break we will have a well-earned cuppa with some lovely goodies to give us energy for the second half. Everybody enjoys the break where they can meet up with old friends, make some new ones and catch up on all that has happened since they last met.

At a recent céilí we were delighted to donate the profit to the Tipperary Branch of Parkinson’s Association and a presentation was made to Marion Burke on their behalf.

If it is your first céilí, be sure to let us know and we will make sure that you get lots of dances.

Set dancing classes continue at the Nenagh Arts Centre on Tuesday nights. Beginners - 7.30pm to 8.30pm and we dance some sets from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are always welcome.
