Mullaney returns as Sullivan moves on

Tipperary have moved quickly to appoint a new junior camogie manager after David Sullivan accepted the offer to become the new manager of the Offaly intermediate camogie team.

And Tipp have gone with what they know with Bill Mullaney taking up another role within the Tipperary camogie family. The Newport/Ballinahinch clubman was in charge of the under 16’s for the past year after previously being in charge of the seniors for five years after guiding the minors to All-Ireland glory in 2016.

He succeeds Lorrha native Sullivan who spent one year in charge of the Tipperary juniors, guiding them to a Munster title and reaching an All-Ireland Final where they fell to Clare.

Offaly have confirmed that Sullivan has been appointed manager of their senior team for a two-year term, who were relegated to the intermediate for 2024. John Paul Houlihan (selector) and Ronan Moore (S&C) both of whom are from Lorrha and worked with Sullivan last year are on board with Offaly while Michelle Davis and Elaine Hogan will serve as selectors while Keith Begley forms part of the backroom team as sports psychologist.

Tipperary County Board have also ratified Denis Kelly for another year as senior manager while John Ryan remains on as minor boss.
