Three away games to start for Tipp Ladies in National Football League

Tipperary’s senior ladies footballers will begin with three away games after the schedule for the 2024 Lidl National League Division 2 was announced this week.

Peter Creedon’s charges will play in the second tier for the third consecutive year having finished third last year, missing out on a place in the final.

The Premier ladies start out on the weekend of 21st January with a trip to Cavan before returning to Ulster a week later when they take on Tyrone. Tipp’s third away game will be a shorter trip on weekend of 4th February, to Laois who finished second in the division last year.

Tipperary’s first home game will come two weeks later against Kildare before hitting the road again on March 3rd to face Westmeath. The Premier County will finish with two home games, firstly on St Patrick’s weekend against Monaghan before a week later Donegal come South.

The top two-teams in the division will progress to the final which will be played at Croke Park on Sunday 7th April.
