Transition Year students and TQ Mentoring

Since September our TYs have taken part in an eight-week TQ Mentoring Programme facilitated by Tom Quinn. The students have had six one-hour workshops in the programme including a mock interview for a part-time position. Through the workshop the TYs have learned about decision making, communication and importance of good communication skills, creating a CV and an insight into the world of work. They have grown in self-confidence and improved their social skills.

The mock interview gave them an opportunity to use the skills they have learned, and of course, give them practical skills and experience they can use going forward in life.

Thank you to Tom Quinn, who has facilitated this programme over the eight weeks.

Fr Rexon November visit
