Sherry Fitzgerald Talbot offered the freehold interest in three commercial premises in Nenagh (with existing tenants unaffected) for sale by auction on Friday last in the Abbey Court Hotel.

First up was Lot 1 – Clare Street, Nenagh – A two-storey retail/ office premises situated at the junction of Clare Street with William Street. The property is occupied by Clare Street Pharmacy and Nenagh Taekwondo Club. Bidding opened at €350,000 and two bidders battled it out up to €390,000, at which point it was sold to an undisclosed purchaser.

Lot 2 - Summerhill, Nenagh - A two-storey retail/office premises situated close to the junction of Pearse Street with Church Road. This property is occupied by Albany, Tim Butler Accountants and Martin Shinnors Architects. These premises failed to get an opening bid but negotiations now are under way on private treaty terms.

Lot 3 - A freehold interest in a well-established business premises currently under a lease agreement with Cresslough Ltd (T/A DV8) with an annual rental income of €25,000 pa (lease due to expire in June 2025). There was great interest in this property which was later sold after the auction.
