The popular Limerick on Ice train trips organised by North Tipperary Community Rail Partnership will depart from Nenagh/Cloughjordan Stations on January 4 and 5 with groups to be catered for on the ice between 12 noon and 1pm on both days. The cost of tickets is €6 return on the train (€3 for child) and €12 for entry to Limerick on Ice on production of a train ticket. Train tickets must be booked in advance.

The train will leave Cloughjordan at 9.26 am; Nenagh at 9.55am and Birdhill at 10.19am. The train will return from Colbert Station in Limerick at 5.10pm. The contact person for Cloughjordan is Elaine Baker (087-1243588) and for Nenagh, Louise Morgan Walsh (087-6154145).
