Patrick Jade will release his debut single this Friday.

Moneygall musician releases debut single

Moneygall musician Patrick O’Meara is excited to announce the release of his debut single ‘What You’ll Need From Me’ this Friday, January 12.

The single is an energetic blues/rock song that showcases the signature sound and musical style of Patrick, whose artist name is Patrick Jade. With over 20 years’ experience on the road as a drummer, ‘What You Need From Me’ has a strong drum groove throughout. The excellent lead guitar playing of Myles Shannon (session guitarist) really embellishes this track and makes it a strong debut single from the drummer/frontman.

‘What You Need From Me’ is an original song written and performed by Patrick, with the aforementioned Switzerland-based Myles Shannon on guitar. The arrangements, along with the mixing and mastering, were by Ettienne Lane at ‘Song Evolution Studio’, in South Africa.

Patrick Jade said: “The song (‘What You’ll Need From Me’), was written about the promises we make when we bring a child into this world. As a parent, you want to give your child every opportunity to succeed in this world.

“Our children are growing up in a time where decisions are made with the swipe of a finger. The impact of social media can escalate their emotions from 0-10 within a few seconds, leaving them vulnerable and impressionable.

“As parents, we try to shield our children from these outside influences as much as we can. Encouraging them to find their own path, and to find inspiration, idols, and heroes in those that surround them. We try teaching them to form their own opinions and values, and not to conform to the images they see portrayed as perfection on social media.”

The single ‘What You Need From Me’ is available on January 12 on all streaming platforms. For more information, see Patrick Jade’s music social media – Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and You Tube.
