Tipp Minor Camogie team enter Championship fray

It might be just be the third week in January but championship Gaelic Games is already upon us with the Munster Minor Camogie Championship getting underway this week

It might seem very early but in previous years the Munster Championship was played during the summer after the completion of the All-Ireland Championship, but this year they have brought it forward in advance of the All-Ireland series which will begin in March.

Slieve Felim Rapparees John Ryan remains at the helm as manager and this week named his thirty player panel in advance of their Munster semi-final against holders Cork at the Camogie Grounds, The Ragg, this Saturday 20th January at 1.30pm. The winners will face the winners of Waterford and Limerick in a Munster final on February 18th.

The Electric Ireland All-Ireland Minor Championship begins on 4th March with one group of 6 teams. Each team plays each other with the top 4 teams qualifying for a semi-final.
