First Dates encounter for Tipp's Vlad

Roscrea man, Vlad Bodrov, will appear on First Dates Ireland this Thursday, January 25, at 9.30pm on RTE2. Latvian-born Vlad is a big GAA fan and was on the Roscrea team who won the Minor A Championship in 2017.

The social care worker also played as a forward in Gaelic Football for Inane Rovers in Roscrea, while he was a goalkeeper for the local Killavilla soccer club.

On Thursday's show, he will meet football-mad primary school teacher Alannah (21) from Dublin.
