Advance works on Nenagh-Thurles road realignment

Advance works have commenced on the long-awaited R498 Nenagh-Thurles road realignment project at Latteragh.

This month's meeting of Tipperary Co Council was informed that the advance works include fencing and site clearance, along with archaeological investigations.

It is anticipated that a contractor for the main works will be appointed and works will commence in the third quarter of this year.
