Tipp Association to enter float in London St Patrick's Day parade

The Tipperary Association in London will celebrate their 70th year and to mark the occasion, they will enter a Tipperary float in the London St Patrick’s Day parade for the first time ever. Sponsored by Proplant Scaffolding and Safety First Consultancy, the float will be decorated with blue and gold flags, which will fly high through the streets of London.

On the float will be founding member of the association, Gus Casey from Templemore, who celebrates his 90th birthday this year. They are also appealing to all Tipperary natives residing in London to come long on the day and walk beside the float.

There has been a concerted effort in recent times to get the Tipperary Association moving again, so they hope to see you all on St Patrick’s Day.

The 2024 committee is: President: Gus Casey (Templemore), Vice President: Denis Power (Carrick Davins), Chairperson: Ned Fogarty (Templemore), Vice Chairperson: Shaun Fennessey (Newcastle), Secretary: Adrian Fennessey (Newcastle), Assistant Secretary: Sharon Fogarty, Treasurer: Donal Corbett (Shannon Rovers), Assistant Treasurer: Denis Power (Carrick Davins), PRO: Charlie Evans (Loughmore Castleiney).
