U16 & U19 Basketball

Congratulations to our U16 girls basketball team who beat Athy College in the Midlands Plate final. The girls put on a very strong and skilful display, with amazing teamwork, and were deserved winners. Commiserations to our U19 team who despite a strong fight back in the second half fell short against a much more experienced St Finians. The game was played in an amazing atmosphere with great sportsmanship at the end from both teams. The U19s are a very young team and will only become stronger. Well done to all girls on another successful year for senior girls basketball.
