Tipperary will aim to secure top-seeding for the All-Ireland Minor ‘A’ Camogie Championship semi-finals when they host great rivals Cork in a round 4 clash on Sunday.

CAMOGIE: Electric Ireland All Ireland Minor Championship Preview

TIPPERARY v CORK

Camogie Grounds, The Ragg

Sunday, 7th April

Throw-in @ 2.00pm

Referee: Ray Kelly (Kildare)

The sides are the two remaining unbeaten teams in the competition with Tipperary’s three wins from three already confirming their place as one of the four teams in the semi-finals, along with Cork.

The remaining two spots will be between four teams, Kilkenny and Galway who meet on Sunday, as do Waterford and Antrim who can stay alive going into the final round with a win.

Tipperary have been hugely impressive in the All-Ireland championship so far with wins over Kilkenny, Galway, and Antrim.

This is off a Munster Championship success where they defeated Waterford in the final.

However, the reason this Sunday’s game against Cork remains important is the Rebels are the benchmark for all underage camogie teams having won four of the last six titles. They were also edged out narrowly by Tipperary in the Munster semi-final in January so it will be interesting to see how much both teams will have progressed since then.
