Fundraiser concert raises over €5k for charity

A NIGHT of Musical Theatre with Grace Shesgreen, held in Nenagh earlier this year, has raised €5,416.82 for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Following a Night of Musical Theatre at Nenagh Arts Centre, it continues to be a busy time for local singer, Grace.

She knuckled down to complete her four-year degree in Musical Theatre at American College Dublin with a few performance opportunities in between. She appeared at the Helix with the Artane Band, the Bond Classic ‘Skyfall’, along with showcase performances at the Peacock Theatre at the Abbey followed by her final year production with ACD as Reno Sweeney in Cole Porter’s ‘Anything Goes’ at the Dundrum, Dlr Mill Theatre.

Getting back to Nenagh, Grace presented Carol Brady, Chairperson of the Limerick Branch of CF Ireland, with a cheque for €5,416.82, proceeds from that sold-out performance on February 17, outside Nenagh Arts Centre.

Putting on such a production would not have been possible without the very much appreciated sponsorship and patronage Grace received that evening along with the encouragement received on the evening from the packed-out Arts Centre.

Grace extends a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed to such a successful night, one that gives her encouragement as she embarks on a career in the industry.
