Tools stolen in Nenagh recovered by gardaí

Gardaí recovered around €3,500 worth of tools that were stolen in Nenagh last week.

The tools were stolen during a burglary last Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Gardaí subsequently stopped a vehicle near Roscrea and recovered the property.

One male was arrested and charged with burglary and handling stolen property. He has since appeared before Limerick District Court, where he was remanded in custody.

Separately, gardaí are appealing for witness information after tools were stolen from three vehicles at Cragg, Newport, last Thursday.

Gardaí are also investigating the stealing of a car from Pound St, Newport, overnight between Wednesday and Thursday last. The vehicle was recovered in Limerick city the following day.
