Tour of Nenagh Library

Local councillor Séamie Morris has asked for councillors to be given a tour of Nenagh Library to see the facilities it has to offer.

Cllr Morris previously made the request last year in light of the range of new services the library has to offer, including the likes of LOTE (Languages Other Than English) online service for children; C-Pens, which assist people with reading and learning, and the Acorn Tablet, Ireland's first age-friendly smart computer.

Cllr John Rocky McGrath agreed with the suggestion of a formal visit. Nenagh Library is a “fabulous amenity” and it needs to be promoted, he said.
