My Little Library Bag in Nenagh

Young Rían Boland (4) will start school in September and was delighted to receive his very own My Little Library Bag from Nenagh library to mark the occasion.

Sitting next to his mother Niamh and younger brother Darragh (3), who will be starting school next year and will get his own My Little Library bag then, both boys were also looking forward to becoming Summer Stars and taking part in our Summer Reading programme, which is jam-packed with things to do throughout the holidays.

My Little Library aims to provide a book bag and potential library membership to every four and five-year-old starting school in September 2024 by presenting the child with their My Little Library Bag in the library and inviting them to join the library if they are not already members.
