What a night!

What an exciting month it was for the Network Ireland Tipperary branch, who had their Network Tipperary business awards ceremony in the Anner Hotel, Thurles, on Friday, June 21.

What a fantastic night it was with some incredible winners from the following categories; Marian Kennedy - A new mum, Employee Shining Star - Shona O’Brien of Kare Plus, Employee Rising Star - Emma Hogan Eyre of Skin Formulas, Established Businesswoman - Geraldine Jones of Skin Formulas, Solo Businesswoman - Marie Therese Walker of MTW Jewellery, Emerging Businesswoman - Elaine Crosse of Bánor and Creative Professional - Samantha Stewart of Pretty Bowtique.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners, who were all extremely deserving, and we would like to wish all winners the best of luck as they go forward to the Network Ireland National Awards on Friday, September 27, in the beautiful Lyrath Estate.

We would like to offer a huge thank you to our president Leanne Price and our wards co-ordinator Joanne Kennedy, who did an fantastic job in organising the night; our incredible and entertaining MC for the night Carol O’Kelly of Redstorm Communications Limited and Network Ireland Dublin, our entertainer and singer Molly O’Connell.

Finally, we would also like to thank our judging panel - Mary Ryan of Tipperary Local Enterprise Office, Michelle Nugent, branch manager of AIB Cahir and Rachel Purcell of Fetch Coffee, as well as our branch partner Tipperary Local Enterprise Board and our national partner AIB for their continued support.

We would also like to recognise our charity partner Down Syndrome Tipperary, who do amazing work to ensure all their members with Down Syndrome can reach their full potential through providing services such as speech and language co-ordination, tutoring and education. Thanks to some generous donations from local and network businesses, we are delighted to confirm that the fundraiser on the night raised €1,850.

There really are so many benefits of joining the Network Ireland Tipperary branch as it not only provides female business owners with networking opportunities but offers a range of helpful talks, events and business mentorships, to name a few.
