The Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship: The group stages concluded last Wednesday when Kiladangan and Nenagh Eire Og 1-18 to 3-12 in Templederry.

The sides were level 1-7 each at half time with Eoghan Sharkey (Kiladangan) and Conor McCarthy (Eire Og) finding the back of the net for their respective sides.

Kiladangan made the better start to the second half and held a three point lead until Stevie Hallinan levelled with a goal for Eire Og in the 38th minute. Jamie Cottrell added Eire Og's third goal two minutes later. The sides traded scores for the remainder of the half in what was a well contested game. A Zac Keller free on the stroke of full time levelled the game.

Kiladangan and Toomevara finish first and second and will progress straight to the semi-finals. The quarter finals take place this Friday 2nd August at 7.00pm - Ballinahinch face Kilruane MacDonaghs in Nenagh whilst Nenagh Eire Og face Roscrea in Cloughjordan.

The semi-finals will take place on Friday 16th August - Kiladangan face the winners of Ballinahinch/Kilruane MacDonaghs and Toomevara face the winners of Nenagh Eire Og/Roscrea.

The Watch Centre Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: Two outstanding round 2 games took place last week in the North Junior 'B' Hurling Championship.

In Group 1, Silvermines had a 2-13 to 1-14 victory over Burgess last Thursday in Kilcolman. A Gerard Leamy goal helped Silvermines to a 1-10 to 0-8 half time lead. Burgess had the ‘Mines lead reduced to two points mid-way through the second half but a Niall Curran goal for Silvermines in the 56th minute stretched their lead to six points. Burgess responded soon after with a goal through Shane Maher but Silvermines held out for victory.

In Group 2, Moneygall had a 3-19 to 2-13 victory over Kiladangan last Sunday in Moneygall. Moneygall led 1-8 to 0-8 at the break with Tom Teehan the goal-scorer. Kiladangan had the sides level 1-10 each after a well-finished Ben Kirwan goal in the 34th minute. Moneygall pulled away in the last ten minutes, scoring two quick goals through James Carroll and Jody Troy whilst Jos Slattery scored a consolation goal in the 56th minute for Kiladangan.

Round 4 takes place this Saturday 3rd August with all games throwing in at 7.30 pm. In Group 1, Newport host Portroe, Silvermines host Borrisokane and Burgess host Knockshegowna. In Group 2, Ballina host Toomevara, Kiladangan host Templederry Kenyons and Moneygall host Lorrha.

Ger Gavin Under 19 Hurling Championship: The second round of the 'A' championship take place on Wednesday 7th August. In Group 1, it sees a clash neighbours as Moneygall Clonakenny host Toomevara and Nenagh Eire Og host Silvermines. In Group 2 Ballina will host Roscrea with Borris-Ileigh having the bye.

The 'B' Championship will commence on Wednesday 7th August. In Group 1, Borrisokane host Portroe whilst Ballinahinch/Templederry host Burgess. Group 2 sees Newport host Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Lorrha Rovers host Kiladangan.
