The Resonance Festival next month in Ballina-Killaloe is a not-for-profit, volunteer led festival that aims to connect and inspire. It was co-founded in 2022 by Steve Coakley, Emily Ross and Carmel Doolan.

Ballina-Killaloe to host creativity festival

Resonance Festival returns with a celebration of innovation, music, and wellness on the picturesque shores of Lough Derg.

This September, Resonance Festival invites you to immerse yourself in a unique blend of creativity and nature.

Set in the stunning twin towns of Killaloe and Ballina, this two-day micro-festival, happening on Wednesday, September 4, and Thursday, September 5, offers an escape where art, music, and innovative thinking converge against the backdrop of Lough Derg’s serene landscapes.

Experience an eclectic line-up, featuring thought-provoking workshops, networking, live music, and wellness activities tailored for the creative explorer.

From the soothing strings of Portroe Cellist Gráinne Ó hUiginn to insightful talks by the likes of former Mountjoy prison governor John Lonergan and RTÉ’s meteorologist Evelyn Cusack, Resonance Festival is your ticket to rediscovering creativity.

“Resonance is not just a festival; it's an experience designed to ignite your imagination and create moments of human connection,” says Steve Coakley, Festival Chair.

“Expect to be inspired by innovation, and leave with a renewed sense of wonder.”
