Ahead of the overseas trip, a fine woodland walk has been organised for this Thursday.

Tipp walking group bound for UK

Well done to everyone who has supported us and joined us on our many walks and trips away over the last few months, your support is greatly appreciated. We are more than half way through 2024 and our club have a very busy few months ahead with all the Aran Islands walked to date and some more islands to complete.

On the weekend of August 17 we are travelling to the UK to climb England's highest peak, Scafell Pike. Our walk last Thursday was a well-attended walk around The Brittas Lake Loop at Clonaslee. Well done to everyone that made the effort. Our Thursday night walk this week, August 15, is a walk that is always well attended, The Knockbarron woodland Loop outside Kinnity. Distance: 5.5km, time: 1.5 hours, grade: moderate/easy. Meeting at the Knockbarron Trail Head at 7.30pm. A fine woodland walk and well worth the effort. To join the group and to see what the club has to offer please follow the contact details below. If you would like to join us on any of our night walks or weekends away you can contact Cathal on 086 3399193.
