Camino walk in memory of Liam

Family fundraiser for North Tipperary Hospice

The Reddan family, Liam’s wife Mary B, his daughter Kathy-Ann and son Michael, will walk the Camino in September to raise funds for the North Tipperary Hospice.

This walk is in memory of Liam, our beloved husband and father, who died on September 10, 2020. Our 115km walk will begin in Sarria on September 4 and we will arrive in Santiago de Compostela on September 10, Liam’s fourth anniversary.

We are inviting people to donate to North Tipperary Hospice, which provides invaluable and essential services to cancer patients and their families. We, as a family, availed of these wonderful services throughout Liam's illness. All the funds raised from the walk will go directly to this great cause.

Liam was a member of Nenagh World Aid Society for over 30 years. As treasurer for many of those years, he helped the society collect donations for people in need in many countries overseas.

Liam had a big heart and an appreciation for local community, and he was involved in many other charitable works and fundraisers.

He had a great love for writing, poetry, storytelling, local history and the outdoors. Before he became ill, he had hoped to walk the Camino, and we are now doing it in his memory and, also, to raise funds for the North Tipperary Hospice.

We would be grateful if you could help us by donating whatever you can. Simply visit this link to make your contribution. All donations are processed securely, and will go directly into the North Tipp Hospice bank account. Your donations would be greatly appreciated.

Please spread the word of this fundraiser to family and friends, as the services that North Tipp Hospice provides are based on contributions.

Sadly, every family has been touched by cancer and its devastating effects, and we would like to ensure that the care and services that Liam received are available to other families in our area. This will not be possible without the invaluable support that the North Tipp Hospice offers.

We appreciate your support. Thank you.
