The Watch Centre Junior 'A' Hurling Championship: Kiladangan and Toomevara will face off in the North Final on Friday 6th September at 6.45 pm in Borrisoleigh.

The Watch Centre North Junior 'B' Hurling Championship: Group 1 concluded last Wednesday with Knockshegowna securing top spot after a 1-16 to 0-8 victory over Borrisokane.

The quarter finals took place last weekend where Silvermines had a comprehensive 4-17 to 1-5 victory over Toomevara in Dolla on Saturday.

In what was a comfortable performance throughout, Silvermines held a 1-10 to 0-3 half time lead.

The second quarter final was far closer with Newport having a 1-13 to 2-9 victory away to Moneygall on Sunday. Moneygall were 1-6 to 0-6 ahead at half time and they held a four point lead in the 55th minute. However, Newport put in an impressive finish, scoring 1-2 without reply in the closing minutes to secure victory.

Newport and Silvermines now join Knockshegowna and Ballina in the semi-finals which take place this Saturday, 31st August. The semi-final draw was not carried out at time of going to print - check North Tipperary GAA Social Media pages for fixture details.

Ger Gavin Under 19 ‘A’ Hurling Championship: The semi-finals took place last Wednesday with victories for both table toppers - Borris-Ileigh and Toomevara.

Borris-Ileigh had a 4-17 to 1-17 victory over Silvermines. The ‘Mines made a good start and held a 1-4 to 0-5 lead after the first quarter. However, Borris dominated the second quarter, outscoring their opponents 3-9 to 0-3 with goals from Paddy McCormack, Patrick Brett and Razuk Atik which gave them a 3-14 to 1-7 lead at the interval.

To their credit, Silvermines put in a spirited second half performance and had the Borris lead reduced to six points going into the closing stages of the game, A Darragh Chute goal for Borris in injury time concluded the games scoring.

Toome had a 1-19 to 2-9 victory over Ballina in the second semi-final. Toome held a 0-9 to 0-3 half time lead with Darragh McCarthy leading the scoring from placed balls. An Austin Duff goal for Toome in the 41st minute stretched their lead to eleven points with Jack Hogan also contributing to the Toomevara scoring. Toome were comfortable for the remainder of the game with Zac Egan scoring two consolation goals from placed balls late on for Ballina.

The North Final will take place this Sunday at 3.30pm in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh.

Ger Gavin Under 19 ‘B’ Hurling Championship: The group stage concluded last week.

In Group 1, Borrisokane received a walkover from Ballinahinch/Templederry whilst Burgess received a walkover from Portroe. Both Borrisokane and Burgess progress to the semi-finals.

Kilruane MacDonaghs topped Group 2 with another comprehensive victory, this time over Kiladangan, 4-19 to 0-17.

A Michael Cleary goal for the magpies just before half time helped Kilruane to a 1-12 to 0-6 interval lead. Kiladangan made a positive start to the second half, scoring three frees but these were cancelled out with a well-finished Michael Hennelly goal for Kilruane in the 35th minute. Brian O'Meara found the back of the net for Kilruane in the 47th minute whilst Michael Cleary (who finished with an impressive tally of 2-9) bagged Kilruane's fourth goal in the 58th minute.

Newport will join Kilruane MacDonaghs in the knockout stages after a comfortable 2-28 to 1-11 victory over Lorrha Rovers.

The semi-finals will take place this Wednesday 28th August at 6.30pm – Borrisokane host Newport whilst Kilruane MacDonaghs host Burgess.

The North final will then take place this Sunday at 1.30pm in MacDonagh Park, Nenagh.

Under 17 'A' Hurling: The semi-finals took place on Monday evening with Toomevara edging out Borris-Ileigh while Kilruane MacDonagh’s got the better of the Nenagh Eire Og..

Under 17 'B' Hurling: The semi-finals took place on Monday where Portroe accointed for Lorrha Rovers while Roscrea defeated Borrisokane.

Under 15 'A' Hurling: The semi-finals are scheduled for this Thursday 29th August at 6.30pm - Nenagh Eire Og face Newport in Kilcolman whilst Kilruane MacDonaghs face Roscrea in Toomevara.

Under 15 'B' Hurling: The quarter finals took place last Thursday - Burgess had a slender 0-13 to 1-9 victory over Portroe, Borris-Ileigh got the better of Silvermines, Toomevara defeated Ballinahinch/Templederry 0-19 to 1-8 whilst Moneygall conceded to Ballina.

The semi-finals are scheduled for this Thursday 29th August at 6.30pm - Burgess will face Borris-Ileigh in Cloughjordan whilst Ballina face Toomevara in Nenagh.

Under 13 'A' Hurling: The semi-finals took place on 20th August – Nenagh Eire Og defeated Roscrea 2-8 to 0-11 whilst Toomevara had a 5-7 to 2-5 victory over Moneygall. Nenagh Eire Og and Toomevara will compete in the final which takes place this Saturday at 3.45pm in Borrisoleigh.

Under 13 'B' Hurling: The semi-finals took place last Tuesday - Burgess defeated Lorrha Rovers 3-11 to 2-7 whilst Ballinahinch/Templederry defeated Kiladangan 1-7 to 0-7. Ballinahinch/Templederry and Burgess will compete in the final which takes place this Saturday at 2.15pm in Borrisoleigh.

Under 13 'C' Hurling: The semi-finals took place last Tuesday where Borrisokane had an exciting 4-3 to 4-2 victory over Kilruane MacDonaghs whilst Newport got the better of Portroe, 2-7 to 1-6.

Borrisokane and Newport face off in the final which takes place this Saturday at 3.30pm in Borrisoleigh.

Under 13 'D' Hurling: The semi-final's took place last Friday where Newport had a 3-5 to 1-2 victory over Nenagh Eire Og whilst Silvermines had a slender 0-4 to 0-3 victory over Roscrea. The final will take place this Saturday at 2.00pm in Borrisoleigh.
