Kicking for Autism 32 comes to Thurles

On September 2nd, Tori & Megan set out to kick a point at all 51 GAA pitches in Tyrone. Their aim was to raise awareness of all those affected by Autism.

Tori’s younger brother is autistic and as a family they realise how much more there is to learn about autism but also how important it is to feel supported. This turned out to be a hugely successful and emotional day and the support the girls received from all 51 clubs was amazing. The girls also managed to raise the superb amount of money £18,000 which went in full to Autism NI to help continue their vital work.

Following the success of “Kicking for Autism” the girls decided they wanted to get this message across the whole island of Ireland. The plan is that on the weekend of 29th August to 1st September, the girls will kick a point at all 32 county pitches in Ireland! All monies donated will go in full to Autism NI who we are delighted will be supporting us again, and also Asiam.ie the Dublin based autism charity.

If you would like to meet the girls and support them on their journey, they will be in FBD Semple Stadium Thurles this Saturday morning at 9.45am.

Fiserv Fittest Four Charity Event

Fiserv, Tipperary GAA’s sponsor for the past three years has been one of our more proactive sponsors, doing half time shows at league games, handing out merchandise and facepainting before games and have raised over €60,000 for charities over the last two years. This year’s event is on Saturday, 7th September running from 9am to 9pm.

They have organised the “Fiserv Fittest Four Challenge” in aid of Clionas Foundation & Cari Foundation which will take place in FBD Semple Stadium in conjunction with the Under 9 Blitz.

Fiserv are hoping for a minimum of one team (must contain at least 1 male and 1 female) from each community in Tipperary. Teams can be from businesses, rugby, soccer, other clubs in your area, or just four people who come together to compete for the title.

The prizes are amazing which include two GAA All Star tickets with overnight accommodation, All Ireland tickets, Hotel Breaks, Signed Jerseys, to name but a few. Also, the winning association/group will get a full set of jerseys whilst the winning team get four tickets to all Tipperary League games in 2025 plus a Corporate Table for 4 at Punchestown Festival 2025 with overnight accommodation.

Teams can book their start time by going to the fundraising tab on the Tipperary GAA website and clicking on 7th September in the Calander.
