Officers at Neangh Garda Station (above) are seeking the public's help in relation to a number of burglaries and thefts in the community.

Drugs seizure in Dolla and local thefts

Suspected cannabis with a street value of approximately €1,000 was seized by local gardaí in the Dolla area on Thursday of last week.

A quantity of cocaine was also seized during the search and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Property was stolen from a business premises during a burglary in Rearcross at approximately 4am on the same date.

At Tullaheady, Nenagh, a consaw was stolen from a vehicle during the early hours of August 20-21.

Meanwhile, in Capparoe, diesel was syphoned from a lorry at approximately 10pm on Thursday last. Two males are suspected to have been involved. CCTV footpage in the area is being harvested in the hope of aiding gardaí in their investigation.

A quadbike was stolen from a premises at Annaholty, Birdhill, in the early hours of Saturday last.

Gardaí in Nenagh are urging people to be vigilant to avoid being the targets of such crimes. They are also appealing for information on any of the above incidents.
