Save our Convent - Templemore petition

A public petition will be launched shortly to support recent attempts to secure the former Convent of Mercy building for the community. Developments have continued apace in recent weeks with every avenue being explored in an attempt to retain this iconic building for community use.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to expand our community infrastructure and facilities, and to succeed we require the full support of our entire parish along with those of Borrisoleigh, Moyne-Templetuohy and Loughmore-Castleiney. Future generations will thank us for having the courage and foresight to secure this building to benefit all in our community, and especially our vulnerable and ageing population.
