Thefts from cars in Nenagh

Gardaí are investigating several incidents in which valuables were stolen from vehicles in Nenagh in recent days.

Cash was taken from a car parked off Church Road between 8am and 8.30am on Friday last, August 30. It is understood that the vehicle was unlocked at the time.

A similar incident was reported at Melrose in the early hours of Saturday morning when tools were stolen from a vehicle. An individual wearing a balaclava was seen in the area at the time.

Another incident in which cash was stolen from an unlocked car was reported at Dromin Court overnight between Friday and Saturday last. And tools were stolen from a car parked in the Friar St Car Park last Saturday.

Elsewhere, a garden strimmers was stolen from a shed in Ormond Keep overnight between Friday and Saturday

A man reported having his bicycle stolen at Summerhill around 7pm last Monday. CCTV camera surveillance of the street is being examined.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to any of the above incidents to come forward.
